Seals and sea lions have been my favorite animals since childhood, a bit obsessively so, they’re woven into my identity. So when life brought me to the Oregon Coast, where I can see them in the wild, it felt like fate. But living alongside them in a fishing community has taught me that balance is essential: both marine life and local livelihoods depend on the same ocean. I believe in honoring both by celebrating the beauty and ecological role of sea lions while respecting the needs of our coastal communities. 
 
The Salty Sea Lion is made with sea salt to honor the waters these animals call home. It includes kelp powder, a sustainable and skin-loving tribute to the marine environment. And its scent is inspired by the feeling of watching these animals glide through coastal waters rather than lounging on the docks where they are not welcome (though we do love a quick hello and photo op too).
